Ltd first began our association with Merlin Interactive
at the beginning of 2004. Previous to this our system
consisted of a made to order database and a Multi-Soft
Prestige accounts package. When Prestige reached the
end of its shelf life we were forced to purchase Sage
Line 100 as a replacement. Our database was now obsolete
and we were relying on Line 100 to produce our invoices.
Unfortunately the new package could not cope with the
demands of our particular business. We received information
in the post about Merlin Interactive's product QuarryMaster
which at first glance seemed to be the software we had
been searching for.
After a few meetings
to assess our requirements, QuarryMaster was installed
and immediately we could see the tangible benefits.
Orders were now processed in a matter of minutes and
the despatchers did not have to worry about prices at
all. The pricing system in QuarryMaster allows a three
tiered approach which ensures every customer has allocated
prices ranging from general price bands to individual
site prices. We input quotations directly into a customers
account so there is no potential for error. We are now
supremely confident that every price on a customer's
invoice is correct.
Every aspect of QuarryMaster
has proven to be beneficial to our company. Reports
which detail a customer's activity for each month are
easy to produce. The Aggregates Levy reports are also
extremely straightforward and make filling in our returns
so much easier. The delivery dockets produced by the
despatch are kept indefinitely in a docket log which
is an extremely useful record. We can honestly say that
QuarryMaster has made the process of producing our accounts
much easier and less labour intensive. Any information
we need is at the touch of a button and any queries
are dealt with speedily and to our complete satisfaction.
One of the most outstanding
features of QuarryMaster is the level of support we
receive. A support person is always at the other end
of the phone to deal with any questions. The remote
site feature is fantastic as it allows Merlin support
staff to dial into our system and rectify any problems
as they occur. There is a great comfort in knowing that
if anything goes wrong it can be fixed straight away.
All in all we can say with absolute confidence that
Merlin Interactive has provided our company with an
excellent return on our money and we would have no hesitation
in recommending their product and their support team."
