We use a little known
accounts system that isn't directly supported by QuarryMaster.
Is there any way of integrating the two systems ?
Yes. There are several ways this can
be achieved. The easiest method is via CSV files which allow
data to be exchanged between the two systems. QuarryMaster
also supports ODBC access and there is a special API for
software developers who wish to create their own link. Merlin
will also consider adding direct support for new accounts
systems within QuarryMaster on a case by case basis.
Which weighbridges does
QuarryMaster support
The
actual make of the weighbridge is not important. Rather, it
is a piece of equipment called an Indicator which determines
if the weighbridge can talk to a computer system. Basically,
an Indicator acts as an interface between the computer and
the weighbridge. QuarryMaster can be configured to talk to
most standard Indicators. If you would like us to check for
compatibility, please email Weighbridge
Indicator Enquiry with the make and model of your Indicator.
What operating systems
does QuarryMaster support ?
Windows 98, 98SE, Me, WinNT, Windows 2000, Windows
XP, Windows 2003.
How many transactions
can QuarryMaster handle ?
The
system has undergone strenuous stress tests with over 15 million
transactions being processed successfully. The program operates
with a SQL Server back-end which is designed to handle extremely
large volumes of transactions - even in excess of our tests.
This means that processing speed would be largely determined
by the hardware available rather than any software constraints.
