Fast Despatch Operation
With any despatch operation, speed is of the essence, allowing the operator to quickly process dockets / tickets, preventing backlog of lorries at the weighbridge. When designing QuarryMaster, this need for quick docket / ticket generation was at the forefront of our thoughts and as a result, we can boast average ticket generation times in the region of 15 seconds. This is facilitated by the use of searchable lists, which allows the operator to make a selection from pre-entered data and a user interface which has been designed around the need for speed.

Integrating Backoffice Accounts Systems
QuarryMaster is compatible with most standard accounts packages, offering seamless direct two-way communications. This eliminates the need for duplicate data entry and reduces the time taken to transfer information such as customer account details and products, while still offering users flexibility. QuarryMaster will automatically detect any new or amended account details in the accounts software package and update itself accordingly. Furthermore, if the program detects that an account has been deleted from the accounts system, QuarryMaster will mark it as inactive rather than totally removing it so as to retain full historical analysis. QuarryMaster can also generate billing transactions, which can then be transferred back to the accounts system for invoicing.

Multiple Depot Operation
QuarryMaster supports despatch operations at multiple locations with support for regional and head offices. QuarryMaster permits full control over the information which is disseminated automatically between depots, ensuring that sensitive information can be protected, e.g. pricing information, etc. While it is desirable to have a Wide Area Network (WAN) installed encompassing all depots, simple dial-up connections can be utilised for small operations - a despatch office can be little more than a single PC with a conventional modem. QuarryMaster is designed to allow remote depots to continue with uninterrupted despatch operations in the event of a communications failure. Once a communications failure is corrected, QuarryMaster will re-synchronise the data to bring all depots up-to-date.

Comprehensive System Administration
For those organisations with their own IT staff, QuarryMaster includes a set of administration tools for managing QuarryMaster's fully-active data dictionary which drives the application. The data dictionary organises the creation and maintenance of data within the system and enforces full data integrity through domain, entity and referential integrity engines. Basic details such as field captions and formatting can be setup in the data dictionary through to complex field validation rules. QuarryMaster has a full security system to restrict / deny access to sensitive information. In addition, QuarryMaster can also track data access using it's audit trail and activity tracking capabilities.
